Glacial Waters Limited Edition Pigment Ink Prints

In this body of work I traveled with climate scientists and responded to what I learned from their research. I used a glass vessel filled with glacial melt water as a lens to photograph through. The water within encapsulated and reflected the scenes, creating a visual metaphor to express the fresh water resource issues associated with glacial recession due to climate change. All Glacial Waters series images are available in limited edition:  an edition of 10 at 14" x 21" size and an edition of 6 at 28" x42."  The new Glacier National Park images are also available in an edition of 4 at 40" x 60". Each edition also has an artist proof (AP).  Ivana selects only the best quality materials to produce her art and prefers materials that are ecologically sustainable.  The prints are archival pigment ink, printed by or supervised by Ivana George on an archival cotton papers, which are manufactured in the United States from %100 reclaimed cotton fibers from the cottonseed oil and textile industries.   The watermark is only for internet display and is not on the actual artworks.  The edition valuation is tiered, therefore collectors who choose to invest early will save money and the value of the remaining prints in the edition will rise as the edition sells out.   The prints are signed and numbered in pencil.
