Hi, My name is Ivana Damien George.
It is a pleasure to share my artworks with you!
"I am a visual artist, creating mixed media art, fine art photography, and video art for 23 years. I completed my Masters of Fine Arts at Tufts University and have exhibited my artworks widely.
My art reflects my belief in the importance of respect for Mother Earth. Sharing my artworks with collectors, students, friends, arts professionals and the public is a great source of joy. I am blessed and honored to have the opportunity to put my artworks in the world and use my knowledge to advance the skills and ignite the artistic passions of my audiences."
The Collections
Sustain Limited Edition Cyanotypes
These artworks are a part of the Sustain series. The serene blue color palette of the cyanotype conjures the inner peace Ivana experiences through connecting with the life giving capacities of the earth, through cultivation and care of her organic garden. To connect the themes in her project to the history of American vegetable gardening, Ivana creates prints with a vintage aesthetic. She wants to evoke a sense of nostalgia for a time when more people grew food in the backyard and community. Learn more about the series by reading the artist statement.
