“I decided to take one of my mother’s life lessons and turn them into this artwork. My mother taught me that self-love is a prerequisite for being able to give love to others. When you are confident and love yourself, people recognize that and are magnetically attracted to you. I used this magnificent giant sunflower, that I had grown in my garden to visually represent this concept.”
