Gathering for an Autumn Stew

from $750.00

There's something deeply satisfying about choosing vegetables for dinner from your own garden. This photograph expresses the quiet elegance of that ritual, where nourishment becomes a celebration.

A woman in a delicate floral dress reaches gracefully for a glossy purple eggplant, its curves echoing the sensual forms of the harvest around her. Arranged on weathered wooden boards lie the makings of a feast: dark green acorn squash, bright orange winter squash already sliced to reveal its flesh, vibrant broccoli, a red tomato, and a green pepper. The lush garden provides a soft green backdrop. Her gentle touch and the careful arrangement speak to both abundance and intention. You can almost smell the earth on the vegetables and feel the cool autumn air.

I was inspired by the purple, pumpkin, ruby and emerald colors of the produce in my garden and the beautiful afternoon light. So I set about to photographing the ingredients for an autumn stew, and the stew was so delectable!
